Once Tracy had her money back, she should have been happy, right?
Well her friend was so upset when he got the garnishment paperwork and discovered Tracy was going after his wife’s wages as well, that he left her an angry voice mail message over it.
That should have been the end of it. Tracy should have been happy that she got her money back, hurt her friends, and destroyed the friendship…..but OH NO. That wasn’t enough. She had to punish him for his impudence.
She took him to court and tried to get a restraining order against him, over the voice mail!
To which the judge reportedly responded: “You’ve got your ‘pound of flesh’ from him, Ms. Coenen. Time to leave him alone.” And the judge didn’t grant the order.
We can only imagine the huff Tracy was in when she flounced out of that courtroom.
And as an aside, we’d like to bring up the fact that Tracy has a serious past history of suing her friends and enemies alike – and we wonder what her attorney thinks of her. If she’s been using the same attorney all this time, it would make sense that he would privately think she has a screw loose.
Melissa – that would line up with your experience with Tracy’s attorney, and the contrast in his ‘tone’, depending on whether his client was listening in.
If, in fact, she uses the same attorney for all of her nasty business, I wonder what he secretly thinks.
Tracy apparently used to have a good friend, whom she spent a lot of time socializing with. She gave her friend a small business loan with no payment terms, just “Pay what you can”. (Note: this is a situation that countless people have seen go bad — most would advise that if you give your friend some money to help them out, you understand that you might not ever see it again. I know because I’ve watched too many episodes of Judge Judy.)
She later got pissed off at her friend, and sued him for the loan money.
She had the friend’s wages garnished.
When she sent the garnishment paperwork, Tracy drew smiley faces and wrote “happy joy! happy joy!” on the envelope in bold red magic marker.
Not only did she garnish her ex-friend’s wages she garnished the spouse’s wages as well even though the loan was in her ex-friend’s name only. Legal yes, ethical no. (Are we surprised?)
The ex-friend got an attorney to handle the pay off (lump sum) and to stop the garnishment. The ex-friend wanted nothing to do with Tracy ever again.
The difference between how the typical Mary Kay director, especially a NSD, looks in her pictures on her website and publications versus how she looks in person is huge. If you’ve ever met some of these women in person, you know what I’m talking about.
Same with Tracy.
Borrowing yet again from Mary Kay, the photos of Tracy Coenen, CPA, MBA, CFE that you see on her site are heavily airbrushed.
If you’d met her in person, you’d know.
Like I know.
We’ve got more Deep throat for you, but let’s pause and get some commentary.
Thanks to our resident investigator, Cheese, for letting us chat with one of her coworkers. (If you all don’t remember, Cheese works with federal law enforcement officers.)
Why is it that Tracy gave up her career in law enforcement, since it’s obvious that she dearly loves to call herself an investigator? We know that her business is nothing more than a CPA outfit, and most of her income comes from tax work. So why on earth did she give up her position as an IRS Special Agent??
We asked another investigator for his perspective:
When a new agent first comes home from FLETC, they are feeling pretty good about themselves. They’ve come through some intense training, and they feel like they are ready to take on the world, investigatively-speaking.
The trouble is that a new agent fresh out of FLETC is at the bottom of the totem pole. They are subject to the more senior agents in the office, thus a new grad will find themselves being the coffee-errand-boy (or girl, in this case.)
We know how much Tracy wouldn’t be able to stand getting the coffee for the more experienced guys in the office. So she stayed true to form, and apparently sought out the only person in the office who was beneath her: the secretary. She made friends with the secretary and shunned the rest of her coworkers.
Eventually she apparently got angry enough to quit. Guess that chip on her shoulder cost her her best shot at a career. What a shame that she gave up such an awesome opportunity, just because she couldn’t be the “head bitch” at the office.
We’ve been contacted by someone who knows Tracy very well. We’re going to call this person “DeepThroat”.
Remember when we were speculating back in June that Tracy had been to FLETC because she wanted to get into the FBI? Well we weren’t too far off the mark. Here’s what “DeepThroat” has to say: (Also, we’ll take votes on whether to call this person “DeepThroat” or “Tracy’s Mom”.)
The ptlies files are basically correct but here is the real deal.
Tracy went to FLETC. She went there after the IRS hired her to be a Special Agent. When she graduated from FLETC she went to work in the Milwaukee IRS Office. She soon realized she was not the top dog and there were people that had absolute control over her.
She could not get along with the Agents so she befriended a secretary and started going to lunch with her. Well if you are gonna play with the big boys ya gotta play by their rules. She implied that the Agents were mean to her because she wouldn’t go to lunch with them, but she also said it was a racial situation (the secretary was black), and alternately she claimed it was a sexual harassment issue. I could never get a straight explanation from her. She ended up quiting.
Bottom line is the Government spent thousands of dollars training her at FLETC, it is an intense program. She did squat, our taxpayer money paid for her investigative education and she did not give back the time. She could not be in control.
Why are we not the slightest bit surprised? Stay tuned….
We’re starting to think that Tracy Coenen CPA MBA CFE isn’t a fraud investigator at all. Why else would she continually get involved in financial transactions with people who don’t deliver? When she paid that carpenter who never showed up, she began listing all of the past judgments against him on her website, as if to prove that he really was a deadbeat and she was justified in vilifying him.
But she’s making herself look stupid, because this has happened to her before. She took another guy and his wife to small claims court in 2004 for a $1400 dispute, and apparently had their wages garnished. (We’re still looking into this; stay tuned.)
Then she later tried to get a restraining order against the defendant, claiming “harassment”.
Tracy Coenen: the Queen of Internet Harassment and Stalking, trying to get a restraining order against someone ELSE. huh. (the restraining order was not granted, btw)
developing…
Here’s the latest Tracy tidbit, which we know you’re all dying to hear about.
Apparently Tracy is a little worried, because when you Google her business (or her name), PTlies and MyPinkTruth come up on the first page. This is a serious problem in her mind, because now people looking for info on her will quickly discover what a not not not nice person she is. (Plus all the weird, unethical, & potentially illegal things she engages in online.)
So how does she combat all of this highly negative and damning publicity? By getting a new blog, of course.
Here’s how this works (yes, we can now read her mind): She’ll make as many sites as she can, that focus solely on her wonderfulness. They have to be blogs, and updated frequently, so that they get indexed by Google quickly. The game plan here is to knock us off the top page, so that when you search for her the sites that come up first will be totally complimentary. Even if she has to start 10 blogs and update them daily, singing her own praises, she’ll do it.
Because how else will she hide the truth?
We got sidetracked with all of the fun tidbits from Savant recently, and I wanted to continue blabbing about Tracy’s previous boss, the one she claims taught her everything about forensic accounting….and of course, she says she just couldn’t “mesh” with him.
We bet.
We can’t help but speculate on how she got her new business off the ground. She says that she left John’s employment and set up her own operation – and in the past when asked about this process, Tracy says that she “got contacts”. She didn’t say how she found her potential new clients, but it’s safe to say that she probably tried to steal John’s clients.
Can you imagine being John Peters? We could almost shed a tear for the poor guy, knowing Tracy as well as we do.
